Hey geeks! Ok, so I have been a qualified therapist for almost 10 years now, and would consider myself good at brow shaping. I have a lot of clients who prefer to come to me for brows over my local competitors offering HD brows™. I have qualifications in everything needed to create highly defined brows. I want to be able to offer high definition brows on my price list but I need ideas as to what to call my treatment to attract clients. Does anyone have an individual name they have for their brows which includes measuring tinting waxing plucking threading & makeup? As well as advising client on how to fill them in etc? I was thinking of offering an initial one off treatment at the start going through their desired shape& colour, show them how to apply the eyebrow makeup etc. and then as the treatment time will be less for maintenance just have a maintenance option thereafter? I totally begrudge spending over £1000 for training in HD brows when I know I am capable of giving my clients their desired shape already. Does anyone do anything different to attract clients to there own brow package? I'm open to all ideas :) thanks in advance

"High Impact Brows"?

and describe as "expert shaping whatever and tinting of brows for the maximum effect"

- First treatment (includes a short tutorial in applying brow cosmetics etc etc)" £xx.xx
- Subsequent maintenance treatments (shape, tint whatever). £xx.xx

Oobviously some of the above is for you to add your own words to!

I feel for any good therapist who understands brow shaping who's being overshadowed by this brand name.

(At the same time, well done to the HD Brows people for developing and marketing their brand).

Just to put this out there. I know of so many therapists (my self included) that have said 'I'm really good at brow shaping, I don't need to spend 1000 on a course' and then they do the course and think wow, I really didn't know much at all. It is expensive, but the knowledge you gain far out ways the cost (which you will easily gain back)

Totally agree. The price given for the course also includes a kit worth something like £400 which nobody mentions. I have worked as a therapist for many years and learnt loads. My before and after pics are improving all the time.
I had a 'brow overhaul' on my price list and rarely did them but already have bookings for HDs.

Absolutely, well done to HD Brows, as it has gotten everyone obsessed with 'ocd brows' :)

however i just dont feel i need to spend that amount to do something i can already do! i was thinking of something along the lines of - EGOhd Brow perfection? Maybe not exactly that, but i would definately want something modern and catchy! Im just not very creative when it comes to names haha!

When people ask you what the treatment is, do you think that you will reply 'it's the same as HD Brows?' You don't have to answer.

when i done my threading course it made a dramatic improvement in how i shaped brows, i then done the hi brows training, and to be honest it wasnt anything i didnt already learn from the threading course. i see before & afters of HD brows and it in all honesty doesnt look any different to how i would leave brows. I have thought long and hard, and im scared to invest the money as i think it may also be a treatment that dies out? But perhaps i could see how i get on promoting my own brow package, and if all else fails i will go down the route of HD :)
