High lift tint and 40 vol

Used wella 12/1 and 30 vol on a client. Full head tint but the back didn't take. Can I use 40 vol?

I work in % but for high lift I have always been told to use 12% x

When applying high lift I use 40 and change application method, do the back first, sides then top perfect! X

What was the hair like before u dyed? Depth tone, virgin, already dyed? Was there any product build up?x

i use igora but always 12% and we double with 12's. same as blue back 1st and mega fine sections! x

Thnks guys, hair naturally 50% grey. Quite dark grey. She was probably golden blonde but wants to be more ashy. I am used to 911 majirel but was told well high lifts are better!

i have never used 30v with 12's, do it again with 40v and you will be fine

i got told to use 12% 40 Vol at all times with wella 12 highlift range.we use wella at college and do use this.
