i am new on here

I had my hair highlighted today at the hairdressers and am disapointed . I have natural red hair and wanted some blonde in it. I have had it done before at previous salons and its been good. after she had finished i wasnt happy as i could hardly notice the colour. The lady put 3 colours in it which i thought would be nice, she used wella colour; i think /9 and put some bleach im not sure of the other colour. It was a full head of highlights she didnt use block colour just thin sections. im a bit of a novice when it comes to this and when she had finished i couldnt do anything about it so just kind of said i liked it but didnt.

Any help would be appreciated!

Go back to the salon.

If you said you liked it then the hairdresser wasn't to know you didn't. They can rectify it for you.

From what you've just said, it sounds like you weren't clear about what you wanted/didn't want during the consultation and expected your hairdresser to be a mind reader.

If the hairdresser hasn't actually done anything wrong, I'd expect them to charge you if you want further work done such as adding more highlights.

Next time, consider taking some photos showing what you like/don't like so that they understand what your version of 'natural looking highlights' or 'bold highlights' is. When they ask you questions, be completely honest with them. Your hairdresser will appreciate your honesty.
