Hi looking some advice any would be great

I got extensions in last week and two days later
They all had came out(microloop) i contacted the lady who did me
She wanted me to pay more money i refused
Then five days later she came to my house to fit them
But strangely had to leave with the hair without fitting (said she would come back)

Then i got a email saying she thinks i removed them due to the condition of the loops and i have to pay another 300 to be put back in'

Im very upset any thoughts on this would be great

She is just trying to make money from you. Consult other hair dresser.

That is terrible service!!!

Yep she now has my money and the hair its been exactly 8 days sense she put them in ,everytime i speak with her she requests more money

i'm confused - are you saying she left with all of the hair without refitting them then suggests you removed them??? I would send her an email asking her to refit them free of charge and that if she refuses to do so you will seek legal action. If you didn't take them out yourself there is obviously something wrong with the product or the fitting but technically that hair belongs to you!!If you signed a consultation form this will act as a receipt and although refunds in the hair extension industry are "funny ground" to cross she should at least put right an obvious fault on her behalf. Keep copies of all text etc and if you get no joy contact consumer direct or trading standards. If she is legit she will have insurances to cover aspects like this. I think the most you will hope for is rectification of the fitting or recovering half of the cost. Things like this make me sooooooooo angry!!!! I really do hope you get sorted . xx

Thanks for your replys means alot
Yes she now has the hair and is saying i removed it myself She can tell by the bonds , why would i remove 300 worth of hair after a few days this makes me angry she blames me
And she said she wont be offering me anything else

Cost me 300 for full head and i told her i would take
Legal action she said thats good

Im totally lost as god knows what she has done to the hair now
To make it look like i pulled it out

Wish i had the hair with me but she was determined
To take it then come back with it

She didnt have forms or anything For me to sign but got reciept

i would say you have no proof at moment, you need to play her at her own game, text or email her so if goes to court have something to show.

ask her why she left with hair you paid for, will she refit them and if mentions cost ask why to refit, communicate by text email, so you have proof of her response.

she sounds terrible a cowboy, taking her to court, probably more response with informing hmrc.

try not to be on attack straight away, try and get her to divulge as much info as possible, to strenghten your case, how did you come across her take it wasnt a recommendation.

Yep got emails and texts
Dont really know what else to say as she just wants more money

What was the name on the reciept? And what area are you in?
People like this should be named and shamed!!! Was you recomended to her?

Sorry I mean was she recomended to you?

not recommended as such
i found her on facebook with good reviews
however she just qualified this year

i should of done more re search but her reviews
made me go for her

not allowed to post names on here
yes her name on reciept

she now ignoring.me and i have proff she doesnt want to help
im stressing so much x

Go to your local citizens advice and get their help in drafting a letter to her requesting a full refund as she has broken the contract by taking your hair (goods) and did not perform the service originally agreed to, to a professional standard. Also state that you will take action in the small claims court, if she doesn't comply within 7 days.

You have a receipt for monies taken and no hair! She can't really argue that you removed the hair, when she clearly has it in her posession. If you had removed the hair, why would you have given it to her unless she had agreed to refit it for you? She doesn't have an obvious defence.

Don't waste any more time texting and definitely do not play games. This will only undermine your case.

The fact that you were not given a copy of any consultation sheet/aftercare advice reflect how unprofessional she is.

It doesn't matter what she has done to the hair in the meantime. You simply want a refund now and do much more research next time. Word of mouth is far more reliable than her mates posting reviews on Facebook, imo.

Good luck.
