I know it's stupid but I'm really upset with my hair and I can't stop thinking about what to do with it so I'm hoping one of you lovely ladies can point me in the right direction.
Iv had black hair for years and years and decided that before Xmas I wanted to go abit lighter so I had it professionally lightened at a salon twice. They then put a semi permanent over the top. The colour and condition was fine afterwards as Iv always had super strong, thick hair.
Due to losing my job I had to go to box colours (I know!) and didn't have it cut for months and months. Due to this I now have 3 different colour rings from my root. My natural colour, a bloody awful ginger brown then a dark brown down the rest of the hair. Iv got bad root glow.
So here's the dilemma. I would quite like all these colours to go and just have a normal brown all over but I'm guessing I would need to pre lighten my hair in order to achieve this however.... My hair is split all over. Iv never seen anything like it. It's so knotty and falls out a lot which is worrying.
Iv just had surgery 2 weeks ago so Iv been bed bound and I don't think the constant lying down and stress has done it any favours. I feel like Iv lost hair at the back of my head!
Anyway sorry to ramble I would just really like this sorted and I'm having trouble finding a good salon near me.
