I have been a qualified Massage Therapist for some years but have recently completed a Hot Stones Course. So I am now looking into buying some Hot Stones. Can anyone recommend somewhere I can get these from, I know you can buy them online but they tend to sell them in packs of 36 + stones, however I don't need that many stones. I was just after any advice or suggestions of where I can buy them from.

Thank you :)

If you've not got any stones at all I think you'd be surprised how many you get through, especially doing a full body massage! I'd think a 36 stone set would be the minimum you'd need. Having said that though if you're just looking to top up an existing kit Salonserve sell individual stones of all sizes (see pg 61 of their Beauty catalogue Salonserve Home - Great Professional Beauty, Nails and Hair products and supplies). Hth!

Thank you for recommending somewhere to buy hot stones. I'll have a look at what they have and at least i will know there good stones. I suppose it's better to have more stones. It was only because when I was trained the tutor said we would ever only need around 10. But I think I would prefer to have more so I have more choice
Thank you Sam :)

ONLY 10?!?!?!?!?!?

I use around 60 stones for a full body massage!!

Its also very difficult to find the right amount and right sizes of stones without having to get them separately.

There are plenty of places to get hot stones and the heaters, you could just google it or try these websites...

I'd use 10 on the back alone as placement stones while I massage the legs, I have about 20 in my heater but replace them when the cool and reuse later. I got alot of mine at a special beach as I could then choose shapes and sizes I wanted however you do need to know what your looking for the wrong stones will crack after being heated.

Thank you for all the replies, definetly think I need to buy a lot more than I was told. Think i might spend some time googling and looking at the websites recommended by all of you.
Thank you for all the advice it's really helped :) x
