How did you decide to start this career?

Hi all,

This is my first post, I love painted nails esp nail art and the last few months i have been doing my own religiously every week with stickers, dotting tools and different colours, doesnt last long before chipping as only standard polish. I would love to do it professionally and family and friends have said to go for it, i used to be creative but now i have self doubts and dont feel confident

What made u take the step to do it, did u know u would be good at it? is applying gels alot different to applying standard nail polish? i currently use salon pro which is gel like

If you are passionate & enjoy creating fabulous nails then I don't see any reason why you shouldn't look at it as a career path! Confidence will come with good training & lots of practice. It's not often that you find people who love going to work every day so if you have found something you really enjoy doing then I would strongly recommend you get yourself trained up.

In regards to working with gel- All will be explained to you when you complete your training but I personally find it easier to work with compared to polish as you can do alot more with it...& with nail art: The world is your Oyster!
