How to achieve color?

Hello. So I wanted to know about how to achieve this color on my hair. My sister is an aesthiatician but doesn't know about hair color so I wanted to ask and see if it was something I could do at home. I've not really ever colored my hair except for years ago when I was in high school and got high/lo lights. I've posted a picture of my hair. And I'll post a pic of the color as well.

Get it done professionally if you're not already a hair stylist, or you'll shell out doing it at home and eventually have to shell out getting it corrected, too
