My hair is a level 7/6 and about 20% gray. I would ideally like to color to a level 8. I have used every type of ash color I could find but still always turn out very warm, which I really dont like, I also have the most resistant grays I've ever dealt with. Which is why I would rather have a lighter color. Any suggestions???

Have you tried colorissimo 8.1 6%?

I’d try wella illumina colours they are violet based so if you want the cooler tones it’s got the underlining violet tone leaving it cooler and more natural

Schwarzkopf have a blonde me range which covers up to 100% grey, they also have .1 range which gives you 100% coverage on greys too. They also have absolutes age blend that gives 100% coverage with a lot of ash tones too x

Fanola No orange shampoo

It’s blue and is for darker tones to remove warmth
