did a friends very thick hair, roots and a few meche, trouble is she has over 3 months regrowth and I ended up using a whole tube plus the extra for meche, as I said she is a friend but as my business is young I need every penny, how do you charge for this much regrowth?

For me....normal 6-8 weeks regrowth = regular price
Longer than that I would charge around £10 more plus i'd charge £5 extra per extra (different) colour.
My price list states ..... prices from!!!!! That way I can charge more on these occasions if I need too.
I know its hard when its a friend but like you say this is your business..
I do my friends cheaper but got fed up with the 'how much for me?' question....I have now done a friends price list too..that way I can hand it over and not have to ummm and arrrrghh while feeling embarrased!

What a fab idea! I'm always unsure about charging friends so getting a list just for them is perfect! I want/need to charge them something but feel awful doing it as they are very good friends so this should save a lot of ummming and aaaahing from me!
