How to get a nice brown on white blonde?

hi i have a client who has always got bleached blonde highlights so her hair is very white but she now wants to tone it down with some lowlights but what colour would you recommend i always find it comes out a not so nice shade the first time i use loreal x

Does she want to tone all the blonde or just break it up?
id be inclined to do bleach and a few real fine 5/6... so it turns back into highlights then that blocky look that im guessing she has?
I toned down a client of mine last week, bleach foils and 8.31 inbetween as a base, it was beautiful... still blonde, well more 'bronde'

hiya yes i think that would be best to do she just wants it toned down so il probably do the 8 to start with then suggest she builds it up thanks alot xx
