I had my first upper lip wax this week and have come out with about 10 little whiteheads now. Is this normal? Have I done neglected to do something I should have? It was numb and tender for about 24 hours afterwards, but I just presumed that was normal...but if this is likely to happen every time, I might just stick with a 'tache

If its your first time that could be normal if your hair is quite dark and thick to be a bit numb and swollen slightly. I was like that when i first started getting it done, now it doesnt even go red. But i still get a few spots! its quite normal. If your therapist uses an oil wax to remove residue ask her not to do that and maybe ask her to use a tea tree wipe over instead.
After 24hours you can exfoliate if you need to, that should sort the little whiteheads out.
Your skin will become less sensitve over time xx
