As i am really getting into the 3D nail art of late, i thought i better think about pricing it out. But where do you start??

When i did my Aunts nails with the 3 colour L&P it took me about 3 hours to do, but it was my first time. I charge her model rates as she has been my "try it all no matter what" client since i began. She loves the 3D stuff i do and would love to have it.

Now i know it depends on the design, how intricate it is and how many nails you do, but just where do you start??

I really want to do this as no one where i lives offers this sort of thing and want to be unique in what i offer to people.

Any ideas from you fellow Geeks out there??:D

I guess no one else sells this then??

Come on there must be someone who does it, just need an idea of where to start???

I think Jess has some prices on her website

Just had a look and it's by quotation so I'm not a lot of help there...as usual!LOL

I think thats what i will have to do, just try and work out a guide and say a from price and see how long it takes.

Thanks any way Cathie.:D

I think it would be very difficult to price so I would probably charge for my time. HTH xx

i charge from £3 per nail for 3d motifs, that would be something like a little flower with 2-3 leaves of a couplle of little hearts or a ladybird, then i move up to £5 and £7 depending on complexity. usually clients prefer to have them maybe on their ring fingers or big toes and generally not the whole set. when i have done the whole set, i discount the price to the cost of 5 or 6 individual ones to keep the costs within reason. i feel if i charge too much, i would never get the chance to do anything like this as the cost would be prohibitive in my area. i guess this would depend on your location as to what people will fork out.
