How to start up a client base

Hi all,

New to industry and the site. Ive recently started up after taking the LCN Gel Extensions seminar. This is meant to be the premium of nail systems (people charge up to £100 from what ive seen. It hasnt hit my area yet so i will be the first and im doing it on my own and going mobile,

Any ideas for getting new clientele? I hand out cards, im on yell, thompson, scoot, google, gumtree, facebook, twitter ive card posters up in shops brochures everywhere but have had 3 customers and one that cancels. Would love some help if you have any tips? Ive had over 180 on my website too offering free nail care kits worth £50 with a loyalty card inside for 9 treatmnts 10th is free and a £2 off next set of nails. Im already half the price of everywhere else HELPHELPHEP please :cry::cry::cry::cry:

I could also use a few other gel technicians on hand to help from time to time so please friend me or whatever. maybe you can steer me right!!

What justifies the charge of £100 for a set of nails? Premium or not if they are gold plated you'd have a hard time finding clients who are prepared to spend £100 on them. Are you sure you haven't made a typo and added an extra '0' on the end as to be fair this is nearer the price bracket for nails these days. This part of the industry is well over saturation.

Oh god I don't charge that! I'm charging 24 got natural, 26 French and 28 for color. The product is engineered and there are huge benefits. I'll never ever charge that price Im average priced for my area. Please read this link, it explains a lot. What are Light Concept Nails? (with picture). You can get 4 weeks off one treatment. Hi there.
I asked a similar question and got a great answer off "Liverpool Lashes". If you google that, she has a website and under "advice" or "how I started" - it's something along those lines, she pointed out some fail safe and tried and tested options. I'd definitely have a look on there. Helped me, good luck!
