Hi. Can anyone of you spraytan geeks tell me does the 5008 machine blow warm air out when you take spray head off so it dries off the client. I did my training with the truemist machine which does do this. However following all the threads on here i've decided to invest in 5008 machine but just wanted to check that this machine does the same as the truemist. Many thanks 😍

It does, but the warm air is only caused by the motor. There isn t a heating element in it ! Hope that helps x x

as above but if your gun is correctly set, the client shouldn't be too wet anyhow.

Thanks very much for the replies. I assume its the same for most machines but just wanted to check. Thanks again 😍 xx

Hi the HVLP 700 blows warm air. The machine has a 150w heater unit.

As unas says though, your clients should be dry immediatley after spraying.

I think the above statement is misleading.

The 5008 does not have any heating elements. It gets warm during use like a vacume cleaner does, the heat is a by product of the motor getting warm not becuse the machine has a heating element.

This is usefull for helping to dry your clients off but as others have said the client should be pretty much dry after spraying if you have the flow settings correct.

Thank you folks. Much appreciated xx

I think the above statement is misleading.

Why is that?
The HVLP 700 has a separate heat button, so can actually 'dry' clients.

But.....as said, your clients should be practically dry immediately after tanning, so choosing a gun with a heat function is not really necessary.

I have the HVLP 5008 and think its a great gun and has never caused me any problems.

I too have the 5008 and it's fab  I love it, the heat is only there because the motor gets warm during use (as I said just like a vacume cleaner does), this is useful for drying your clients off (even though they are practically dry as soon as they are finished when you get your flow setting right) and my clients love a quick blast of warm air straight after the cold solution.

I agree that chosing a machine with a heat function is not necessary and that was what I was trying to say but obviously I didn't quite explain that clearly enough in my pervious post.

A case of being very tired and thinking the post is clear in what I'm trying to say but not suceeding - sorry.

I thought it would be the case thank you. I thought the warm air was quite a nice touch especially on these very cold nights and especially after the cool blast of tanning! Hvlp 5008 it is then! Thank you x
