I just want a light ash brown

Can anyone recommend a nice dark ash blonde or a light ash brown....
for some reason even a flat base 6 or 5 still kicks out loads of red/gold tones?!? I’ve used L’Oreal.. Inoa ... affinage ... And I think matrix. Any help would be greatly appreciated
(Hair in question is ... base 7/6 ... coloured 5/6 under that years of highlights but not in poor condition .. and long) TIA

I would definitely try wella illumina 5/81 or 6/16. Or if you wanted a cheaper option, colorissimo 6.1/5.1 with 3%
