I Need WHITE hair extensions please help

Hi, so i have a client who has very platinum hair its very white. however its impossible to buy real hair extensions this colour.
After reading a few threads on here on using silver shampoo on the hair to remove the yellow and leave them white, i have tried a few times now and getting awful results, the hair is either going blue/grey or just braking off as if its been over bleached?
I am putting the silver shampoo on the hair mixed with normal shampoo so it wouldnt be so strong but its still going wrong, if so many people on here do this where am i going wrong as if there another way to whiten the hair?
please help i am due to fit these hair extensions a week today.

I have found this same problem, there is a "white" platinum blonde colour available (#1000) but its rare and expensive. I tend to buy the #60 blonde and use "Lakme Teknia Silver Shampoo" which you can get for cheap on hairsupermarket and it really does work xxx

Hi Ladies, I've also had the same issue, i fit colour 60 then advise customer to silver shampoo - colour has always lifted to white blonde x

Cinderella hair do a new colour called angel white, I haven't used it before but it cud b worth asking them to send you a sample

White hair is available in either european hair or European cromelly hair, depending what quality you want and how much the client is prepared to spend.

try toning the extensions with Directions white toner and leave it on towel dried hair for around 1 minit or so and during this time keep rising a piece of the hair until you think its the right colour, you can find directiond white toner on ebay

Hi bought mine from celebrity elite the lightest blonde and was still quite warm. Applied pastel toner and 10/16 wella for 20 mins and the colour is lovely match my hair spot on.

I was looking at russian-hair.com and thought the prices were very low.

What is the hair they provide is it indian remy mau5fan?

Sourcing of hair is so hard there's so many fakes out there!!!

Am not a hairdresser but a get extensions and cinderella do White called angel I've seen it on the ring Its lovely very White looking good luck

Missfit it is just impossible to sell genuine Russian hair that low. Their prices are almost as low as Celebrity elite for their remy hair! Russian hair is getting more and more rare and you just would not be able to sell it that cheap. But the best thing is to buy a few strands and test them out, ie wash them and to strand quality tests. So many fakes!

thanks theextensionist, i think this is the hardest part of the job finding a good supplier.

I'm really concerned about losing the business I've built up over the last year down to poor quality hair :-( but looking through this forum its so confusing who to go with as everyones seems to like someone different arghhhh
