ok, im not necessarily a newbie to gelish. However, ibd kinda has me stumped.. i tried using the pink builder gel and cure it under gelish led lamp and it seemed not to cure..here is what i did.. I used the foundation to gelish and used the ibd builder gel and cured for like 45 seconds and it seemed to want to rub off. My question is: was it the foundation and or the light or both?

Hi as you are not a Nail professional we cannot really give you advice on professional use only products.

What I can say is that mixing systems the way you are doing is a surefire route to disaster.

Gelish Foundation is for use with Gelish.

I am sure there will be a product within the IBD Gel system that you require to use as a bonder/basecoat.

Maybe if you are so keen on doing nails you should consider doing some training with IBD and then you will be able to use the full system to get optimum results.

You need to use a UV light with the IBD builder gels. I have used Gelish foundation and/or gelish vitagel as a base, then used the IBD builder gel after, they are compatible, but IBD Builders do require a UV cure.

You cannot use Gelish base with IBD builder. Gelish has its own foundation and IBD has it's own bonder. As Izzi said, mixing is systems is the best way to do damage.
