I would like to know after applying IBX and before applying gel polish I know I go in with my usual manicure but does that include buffing of the nail plate and using bonder. Ive seen some say you don’t and some say you do so I still don’t know what to do. My gel polish normally needs buffing of the nail plate.

If the polish requires buffing then do it. It's designed to go on nails that will be buffed after all.

Thanks for replying i also contacted linda from ibx and she said the same xxx

I do all the buffing, shaping and cuticle work before starting IBX, then after the IBX I just go straight in with the gel polish. Otherwise buffing the nail plate after applying the IBX will take away some of the IBX you've just applied x

Have you had any problems with gel polish staying on? Or is still ok when you do the buffing prior. I use madam glam , gelish, cuccio and another couple of brands xx

I have always buffed prior to IBX not after and haven't had any issues with Gelish. It lasts longer on most people especially those with the weak nails x I have only used it with Gelish though so I can't comment for the other brands x
