Help geeks, I've got really dry skin and when I tan myself or even if someone else tans me I never look like my clients do! My legs are always uneven and my knees go really brown even when I put loads do barrier cream on. It wasn't bad in the winter because I just tanned my face, neck and arms and it looks fine but now I've had to do my legs and go to the school swimming pool I'm thinking I'm not getting any business for the school mums because my legs look terrible! My knees even go too brown with the moisturiser type tans like Dove etc. I've tried putting barrier cream all over my legs but it doesn't seem to help. X

I find fake bakes smoothie oil does the trick for me. It doesnt allow the tan to gather round my knees and feet and stops my legs going scaly. It leaves my skin really soft and allows my tan to fade evenly best tanning aid i have found so far

I'm having a bit of the same problem with my legs at the moment - I think the current weather has something to do with it. My knees and bit of skin just below the top of my anklebones are about 10 times darker than all the rest of my legs due to being drier, and the sweat is taking all the tan from the back of my knees so they're white! :(

I've found keeping the drier patches moisturised with cocoa butter helps; and when I do my own tan, I do it the opposite way I would do a client - I start from knees down to feet, then do hip to knee etc. as I find I bend my knees less this way and it prevents the white or creased parts at the back of the legs.

I also keep Sienna X Dark Tan sachets handy as they apply with guide colour and instantly help fix any streaks etc. They're also selling quite well at the moment :)

Hope some of that helps x
