In desperate need please help

Hi,
Was wondering if anyone is from the blackpool/lytham st annes area?
I recently had a very bad drunken haircut from my best friends boyfriend!
It seemed like a good idea at the time (2 bottles of wine later) anyway my hair got snipped from half way down my back to shoulder length, a heavy blunt fringe which has now started growing out and wonky layers!
I really need someone to help as I really dont know what to do with it. I have a (please dont laugh) phobia of hairdressers, with good reason! I had to put up with my sister messing with my hair for all of my childhood (she thought I was a human girlsworld lol) and then my friend when training and me being the supportive friend cut my hair into a boy like bob So I began to avoid hairdressers like the plague! Stupid I know, I did have an excellent hairdresser who moved and until last year cut my hair and I actually enjoyed the experience
I know the bad experiences are my own fault but would really like to find a great hairdresser in the area as I moved to here a few years ago and not really been brave enough to just try someone!
Any help would be very greatfully received

Fingers crossed someone can help, if I look like this for much longer I'll :cry:
I actually got asked for id for some wine last night I'm 30 and they laughed and said I look like a little girl:o
