In need of a little help

Hi geeks, Iv popped over from beauty/nails, I'm just after a little advice really.

I wear hair extensions, my roots are desperate to be re-done and I'm also wanting to dip dye my ends purpely pink, problem is, I don't really trust any hairdresser around my area to have experience of doing roots with extensions.

Any advice on how to find someone who does?

Or are any of you lovely geeks from around Northumberland area who do?

hi there I'm not from your area but thought I would reply!

Is your extensionist not a hairdresser? Best to have someone who can colour your hair aswell IMO. If she is an extensionist only, she should be able to recommend someone to do your roots, as you said it is something you have to be careful with as colour can really mess up some bonds.
Wether you can dip dye or not will depend on a few things, namely how good the extension hair in the first place. Lower budget hair (and by this I mean £300 and under-ish) will NOT take kindly to being lightened for a fashion colour to go on it. It may be that something like hair chalk could be an option for nights out only.

I would chat with your extensionist and see who/what she recommends xxx

Thanks hun, no she isn't a hair dresser, shes fab at extensions but never wanted to get into colouring, will have a chat with her next time I see her for maintenance.
