Introducing Colour Correction Workshop

This one day interactive course includes; theory and practical sessions and is specifically designed to provide you with more in-depth study of the knowledge and skills required for correcting colour problems.
Our step by step approach is designed to help you to identitfy the problems and provide the solutions required for professional colour correction. As your confidence grows so will your earning potential!
Structure
This course is suitable for newly qualified hairdressers, hairdressers who have been out of the industry, as well as those who feel they need to refresh their skills and update their knowledge of colour correction techniques.

- Theory includes: Effects of products (including lightening) on hair structure, the colour star and its use. Health and Safety and hygiene
- Client Consultation- including hair and scalp analysis, hair and skin testing and diagnostics
- The stages and levels of lightening, undercoats
- Product choice and use of, mixing and application
- Pre-pigmentation - returning light hair to dark
- Unwanted colours and tones
- Identifying common problems including: Banding/stripes, resistant white hair, correcting colour bleed and neutralising unwanted colour tones
- Client after-care advice, maintaining hair colour and condition
