I have been wearing eyelash extensions for a while and for some reason I love to pick them out. My lashes are now very short and sparse compared to what they used to be like.
As the post states: 'is it safe to use Latisee or the generic name Bimatoprost?
Does it actually go in the eye (I know it was found to work as a side effect to glaucoma medication-a bit like DHA for diabetic patients) or do you just rub on the underside of the upper lashes?

I applied to be part of the trial for this product at Southampton Hospital until I read through all the info they provided and saw that it can turn blue eyes brown.

Yes I read that to, although if your eyes are already brown thats not too bad lol.
Other than that and a little redness /itching is there anything that is UNsafe about it?

Probably not unsafe.

Itchy and red perhaps.

Hair growing wherever the solution frequently touches.

Lashes will return to previous state when you stop using the solution.

Expensive.

I dont have bad lashes naturally, but had a bout of picking out lash extensions and just wanted to get something to boost their growth-although think I may try the solar oil technique.
Not too expensive actually if you purchase the generic name of Bimatoprost.

I agree, as soon as Allergan got their mitts on it the price sky rocketed.
