I had eyelash extensions 9 days ago I have lost loads I'm due back weds for infills but the way they have fallen out I'm thinking a whole set is needed

They came our quite quick.

My mum had hers same time weds we had them done & Sat she went back to have more put on as she lost loads in 2 days

I have had them before & can get a good 3 weeks in without infills

This has just come out & in thinking are these cluster lashes that have been put in

Loads seem to be in my eyelid as well rather than the lash & my mum said this

They are most definitely cluster lashes.

the price you pay will probably determine whether they are cluster or 3d lashes and it can be confusing to people not trained in lashes as cluster lashes are also known as individual lashes, but they are individual cluster or party lashes.

Lash on Lash extensions are normally known as 3d or semi permanent lashes.

Cluster lashes don't require infills as they should never be left on for any more than 2 weeks max.

They look like clusters to me. we use them in my salon as I've yet to embark on an individual lash course I'm also a lecturer and these are used for student assessments most def not individual !! we only charge a small amount and id never infil I hope they charged you for these and not individuals ! . The glue I use will only hold them for a few days if looked after well, we refer to them as party lashes or flares !!! Think a bit of contact with the salon is needed ! Good luck xxx

These are definitely cluster lashes. They should be applied with suitable cluster lash adhesive and SHOULD fall out after a matter of days as they will damage your own lashes otherwise.

Some therapists apply these with Semi Permanent lash adhesive to make them last longer. Yes, this will make them last longer but will also damage your own lashes and they can take a good few months to recover.

Cluster lashes should not be infilled as they are intended for temporary wear only.

Only individual semi permanent lashes (one single extension applied to one single lash) can be infilled.

They were on offer of £15 but normally £30. They took about 1hr to put on maybe a little less

I have has cluster lashes before we're on in 20 mins & cost me £8

I hadn't even thought about what eyelashes they were until I saw this I pictured.

Some that have come out have been 1 or 2 strands at a time she said these are a 12 length my mum had 9 or 10 size

They market them as individual eyelash extensions lash perfect I think she said

Thanks I'm going to keep the bulb & say that this was a cluster lash & not individual eye lash extensions like they market it

But you have to be careful, because clusters ARE called individual lashes! It's very confusing.

I'm not sure how things would stack up here, as if she's advertising them as individual lashes, then that's what you're getting? Misleading maybe?

I advertise them as individual cluster/party lashes just to be on the safe side.

They would've been over priced at £30 but £15 is the going rate for cluster lashes.
Unfortunately cluster lashes are sometimes called individual also so I'm not sure what would be the outcome. You can only call them and see what they say?
Saying that, expecting to pay £15 for a set of semi permanent eyelash extensions is madness

It sounds like you have a combination of clusters AND singles. I have seen clients come in with clusters done, and the technician that had done them had evened them up by placing single lash extensions between the clusters to make them look more even. Because you have these clusters, they are obviously attached to bunches of your lashes at the same time, so that they are falling off quickly is actually a really good thing. I have clients come in to have these removed, and they are applied with a glue meant for single one to one lash extensions. What a mess to take off! Here in Canada it seems that the lash techs are not really telling the clients what they are really doing, and the clients tend to go for a good deal, and really don't know what they are getting for their money.

Ask lots of questions when getting extensions. If they are worth seeing, they will show you the lashes they will be putting on, and tell you about their glue. I answer tons of questions for our clientele before they decide to use our services. When they go out the door, they are happy because they got what they knew they were getting. Keep looking and you will find a reputable place to get your extensions done. Once you do, you will be addicted to the service.
