Is this safe?

I work with a older tech and this tech has gotten into telling clients that have discolored toe nails that bleaching is the only method that can be done to cure toe nails of tinting and those ugly white spots.

The tech uses a acid callus remover, lets that sit for about 5 minutes, then uses a cuticle pusher to remove the tint and white spots. Is this safe at all?

On toenails I do a light buff that normally does the trick.... bleaching!? Sounds a bit old fashioned! As for the white spots you mention this ya normally damage or trauma which grows out, no amount of “bleaching” will make these disappear!
