Just got it home (it weighs a TONNE!)
And set about cleaning it as soon as it was through the door. It has a vent in the desk (absolutely FULL of nail dust, tips and false nails) so hoovered all that out and got the filter (huge square thing) and hoovered that too. When I switch it on it works but I don't know how strong the suction is supposed to be on the desk part. It's fairy gentle but should it be as strong as say a hoover suction and should there be a filter (like a coffee filter type thing) on the desk bit?

I had a desk with a built in extractor and it wasn't powerful at all. Mine only had the square filter too.
I've just changed mine to a desk and had a separate extractor fitted in it

Ciderella thanks for the reply. Was yours new when you got it? What I mean is are the fitted extractors supposed to be powerful suction (like a hoover) or just a gentle one. Did you have a filter over it?

Yeah I bought mine new online.
I've no idea, I only know mine was only gently and the one I fitted myself is very powerful however it cost £300 for the extractor alone.
Mine didn't have a filter
