I usually use 55/65 plus Half 5 kp ( on advice from Wells because I have over 50% white hair) and ct 55/65 ct on mid lengths and ends , I forgot the ct !! So took the tint through to brighten..,,,, it’s not nearly as vibrant.

I’ve now got the ct 55/65 do you think if I used it that it would add the vibrancy back ??
( I’ve also got a /65 mix tone but not sure if this would be too bright on its own ?)

You need to cleanse it out first. Layering colour won't give you a lighter/ brighter result. You'll end up with quite a matt, dull colour. Use bleach powder and warm water, mix to a paste, and apply to damp hair. Massage in to the ends leave for 15 mins roughly, this will help shift any extra tone and build up that you have. Shampoo and then apply your 55/65. I would never take 55/0 through to the ends, its such a dense colour.

Thanks for your reply
All done and back to a good colour, no bleach bath needed, just ct to add the vibrancy
( 55/65 is in the vibrant reds range, not a double base for white hair. )
