Im thinking of offering this treatment in my salon but not sure what to charge. Im going to use the starter pack from sallys for about £94 that includes the treatment (enough for 2 heads) the pre shampoo, the after care shampoo x2, the after care conditioner x2 and the serum x2. Iv heard other local salons charging between £150-200 and then charging £15 for each after care product. Also as iv never carried the process out should i give discount to the first client a try it on? :irked:

Hi,
It's £120 in the salon i work in, that includes the aftercare pack of shampoo, conditioner and serum. hth. :hug:

thanks, and does that price vary on length and thickness and how long it takes to do?

I work in my own small salon at home and used this starter pack from Sallys. I charged £120 to include the shampoo and conditioner for aftercare. I got two heads out of that but only just!

It the same price for all lengths in our salon, it takes between 1-2.5 hrs depending on hair length and texture.

We use Kerastraight and not La Brasiliana, but we charge;
£150-short hair
£200-medium
£250 long.
This does not include any shampoo or conditioner which can be purchased separately for £15 each.

Hi Guys

Well we are new to this too, we chose the Brocato system and i have to say whata GREAT choice, the results are FAB, clients are loving it, no fumes and the price is very good , we charge £70.00 for the service and the retail pack of shampoo, conditionerr and serum is £12.99, as we were looking for a system that was affordable, out into kit was £199.00 and we get 10 applications from this so Great value and our Rep who sold us this has been so helpful and supportive and gave us in salon training for FREE.

thanks everyone,
iv just read another thread on here saying you should use titanium straighteners instead of ceramic, does anyone know if thats true? Because iv been told by different people that you can use normal ceramic as long as there 230 degrees.

Hi

infact you should correctly speaking use a Vibro system straightner as the vibration works with the keratin and kicks it in, if you use Vibro Straightners you go over the hair 3 times, with a so called normal professional straightner to get the same affect you would need to go over the hair 6 times for the same result, hope this helps .
