Hi, new on here... I've been spray tanning just over a year now. Who I trained with used LA tan gold range I've always got on with it however by a stupid mistake I ordered the LA tan 10 brown, after receiving it I thought I'd give it a go along side LA gold for people that are looking for more of a dark brown tan however on here I see great reveiws about the brown range and not so much of the gold range but after wash off there was hardly any colour what so ever? I used the same procedure as I've always used( 2 light sprays) using the same amount of solution. I understand te brown range is double dipped but just wondering if anyone else ha the same problem. I thought the brown range woukd maybe come put a lot deeper whereas this doesnt seem the case. I am now looking at other tanning solutions which give more of a brown as opposed to golden tan if anybody an suggest any? I've seen quite a few good reveiws about brown bitz?

You or your clients are probably used to the dark colour guide of the la brown range & once washed off your maybe thinking there is not much colour because the dark guide has gone? x

I think your probably right:) would you recommended any brown tans which don't have a very dark guide colour so it doesn't give this complete washed off effect?

I don't think that you need to be looking for a different brand just educate your clients that this will happen and remind them that they need to check their tan line to see their colour difference.

If they keep saying that they are expecting a darker tan then you just use a higher percent solution and give them a darker tan.

LA brown range goes right up to 20% (cocktail 14%, disco 18% and fast 20%) and you have only tried the 10% so far.

I prefer the brown to the golden, I have an unopened bottle of golden if you are looking to swap for brown if you have an un opened? My clients love the brown and I tried the golden self tan on myself and found it to be a bit orange so scared to use it on a client lol x

I have never had the rapid tan come out that dark? (LA Tan), Im getting a bit frustrated because I love the brown range but just wish it darker, the 18% definately came out darker than the rapid left on over night for both myself and on a few clients, Ive really pushed my LA Tan and charge more than others round my way but am thinking on changing to Nouvatan simply because alot of my clients want MEGA dark not me personally but I need to go with what they'd like :-( x

La tan is browner than nouvatan though. x

JoannaELH Nouvatan won't give a darker tan than LA as it is a golden tan not a brown tan, so as Lush Lash said LA is darker than Nouvatan.

Thanks for the comments:), I'm going to try it out on a few others and try and get used to the fact its double dipped unlike the gold.

I love the LA tan brown i prefer this to the gold. Although OMG tan has been a massive hit with my clients too they love the shades and the fade of is great too xx
