Hi girls

I recently bought the lecente foils as I couldn't resist. I use gellux and candy coat products. When I tried to do a colour pop with gellux polish I couldn't get the foils to transfer! I tried with and without the tacky layer! Without worked best but only tiny parts transferred. Any tips or advice very much welcomed.

Thanks in advance xx

I haven't tried the foils with gellux or candy coat, but some gel polish colour coats don't leave much of an inhibition layer, have you tried putting it on the sticky layer of the top coat instead?

Also you may find it sticks better if you lightly clean the backside of the foil (the side that sticks to the polish) with a lint free pad dampened with gel cleanser/alcohol.

If you want full coverage, it might also be worth putting foil adhesive on, as this will make the foil stick even better!

I've always used a nail foil glue. Maybe it's a 'have' but I've never had an issue with foils this way

Thank you! I will try on the top coat today! I have already been wiping the foil with cleanser but I'll try a few different methods today.

If I don't get anywhere today can you recommend a nail foil adhesive? Thank you x
