Hello there! I’m new posting, new to the salon in general and I’m dealing with a client with extremely damaged, cotton candy texture hair. What’s your usual routine for getting hair back as healthy as possible? Obviously the damage can’t be reversed but there’s gotta be something to help. She had a keratin smoothing treatment before she landed in my chair, and I don’t have a lot of experience with those. Can you put that on top of lightened hair? Either way, just want to get her back on track. Does anyone have experience with the olaplex stand alone treatments?

Yes olaplex stand alones would be a great place to start, and for her to top up with step 3 at home, also a good cut, silk pillowcases, professional shampoos conditioners and masks, cut down on the thermal styling. Professional Moroccan oil, thermal protection too.
Yes I believe the keratin treatments can be done on bleached hair.
Any future colouring be sure to use olaplex too xxxxx
