Lifting black box dyes

need some advice...my friend has coloured her hair many times. She now has black with couple inch root of chestnut that she has also coloured over. She wants to go to a vibrant red. I will be using olaplex and will start with stand alone treatments first. Would it be best to use a colour stripper before bleaching any unwanted colour before colouring or would two applications of bleach be ok. I am also worried about root glare? any advice is appreciated thanks

2 x applications of colour remover should be a good start. Then maybe a highlift red?
