Hey guys.
Ok so I never get any lifting what so ever at the cuticle area or at the sides of the nail plate but when the tip starts to grow off the nail and underneath the acrylic just the clients own nail is left, the clients own nail appears to begin to peel away from the acrylic.

Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong?
I use CJP acrylic x

I've had this with 2 clients, both type at work and both wear long almond/stiletto nails.
I always advise my clients to use cuticle oil under the nail as well but on these 2 clients I then sculpted instead of using tips and it hasn't happened since.

Happens to me all the time. I usually sculpt my nails and I use my computer a lot every day. Funny I had never combined the 2!

Its where the free edge of the natural nail dries up and starts to curl, it happens due to dehydration so getting your client to use cuticle oil under the free edge too will help.

Also make sure you press the product into place all the way down the nail to ensure full adhesion. I see lots of people just brushing it down the nail like polish, it needs to bond fully with the nail so a quick pat/press over, to ensure it's fully attached, all the way down to the FE helps.
