I already wrote a thread but it doesn’t seem to have appeared so here I go again!

I have an interest in learning facials and skincare, with the aim to progress into micro needling, microdermabrasion, LED light therapy etc.

If anyone has any recommendations for regulated, recognised qualifications a beginner could do as a mature student who can only learn part time/weekends that would be great. Specifically online or around the Manchester/Cheshire/Tameside areas. I’ve seen so many courses that claim to be VTCT accredited but then when I look at specific courses I’m interested in then they are claiming ABT accreditation which for one place in particular I have learnt are not!

I did an online manicure course over lockdown as something to do because I’ve always been interested in nails. However it was with said academy that claims ABT accreditation who aren’t. So I’d be looking to do a better manicure/nail tech course at some point. Again recommendations for legitimate training providers would be very much appreciated.

I will be scouring the old threads for information but so far I’m getting very confused with it all!
