Hi

I'm looking to start training beginning next year. Have a course waiting 25 weeks 6 hours a week.

I'm wanting some reading material to start getting into as eager to start.

Does anyone have any recommendations

Please

There are 3 books we mostly recommend, I think they are effectively the 3 bibles of our business

The Complete Nail Technician - by Marian Newman - version 4 is the latest I believe
Nail Class by Gigi Rouse - our very own Super Geek, now retired, this book was a limited run and is like gold dust but worth trawling for a second hand version.
Nail Structure and Product Chemistry by Doug Schoon - science, technical and no-one knows more than Doug about the facts

They are not cheap, but worth every single penny if you are serious about knowing your stuff. Doug's book is technicial, Gigi's is about structure and application, Marian's is a marriage of both and all the other stuff you need to know.
