I am totally New to hairdressing and barbering, and have not taken the normal route of studying it at college or working in a salon. Due to work commitments, time and money, I am doing evening or day courses as advertised.
I am interested in doing the L'oreal junior degree as it's for complete beginners and is an established brand. However, the course is run over 5 days only. Is this really enough to learn all the basics, compared to students who learn for a yr or two? Not complaning, but compared to other courses, it seems quite cheap for such a renowned brand. Do you know if this course is supposed to compliment a student working/learning already or can any beginner just attend?
Would appreciate help/ advice and most importantly, any experience.
Many thanks!
