Hi folks, I'm new to the forum and would really appreciate any help I have with the following problem:
My hair has a lot of red in it; as a young girl my hair was blonde but not that very pale blonde that's usual for blonde children, mine was banana skin yellow
Recently I dyed my hair with 30 developer and a very light, very ash blonde colour from pravana. The colour, even with the large amount of ash in it, turned out a warm blonde, and has since got warmer.
I applied an ash additive with 10 developer, and the ends turned out a greyish colour with a small hint of green, but the rest has still got a large amount of warmth in it :/ It's a curse!
I was considering getting a clynol shot in crystal shade, but after applying the ash, I'm not sure it will do anything to combat the red in the hair starting from the ends upwards.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. The final result I'm looking for is a dark/medium very ash blonde colour, and I'm about to give up on it as I feel I've tried everything at this stage. Thanks guys x
