I wonder if any of you can help, I am desperate to try and get my hair a pastel pinky purple colour and the girls I work with have never tried to do this before so I thought I'd ask for some advice :)
My hair is now light blonde, and they are thinking of mixing some of the violet with a tube of loreal base 10 and colour releaser rather than peroxide, would this work?
Any help or opinions would really be appreciated, thank you!! :) xxx

Loreal do a clear colour that you mix with the violet and other vibrant colours to turn them pastel. And it works brilliant x

Inoa 4.20 and clear mix to some really pretty purples.

Oh fab thank you! What developer would you recommend mixing them with? And also what ratio violet to clear? Xxx

Sorry but it's rule on this site not to give advice to a consumer on professional products. You need to get a hairdresser to do this.

I'm not a consumer I work in a salon but I'm a nail technician and the hairdressers I work with don't use this site

Colourgirly is correct unless you're a hairdresser yourself (which you're not) we can't give colouring information. And you are classed as a consumer as far as this forum is concerned.

You still aren't a hair pro so you are a hair consumer.
It would be like us offering advice to a receptionist in a salon or me asking advice on my DIY gels. Maybe tell them how great SG is so they can get hair advice :)

Unfortunately, not being a hair professional but working in a salon doesn't mean that our Hair Geeks are able to give you detailed technical advice when it comes to colouring, as effectively you are a still consumer in this particular area of expertise.

I wont give you the precise formula as you are not a pro but I would use Dia light not permanent. Ask the girls at work to ring the helpline at loreal :)

Defo! I was thinking the exact same thing!

Ok, so I have clearly caused a bit of an uproar here, I was never planning on doing my own hair I was with my hairdresser friend from work at the time of posting this, who came up with the idea if posting on here! and all we wanted was a bit of help so she does not mess up my hair when we get my colour tomorrow and thought this may of been the place to get a bit of friendly advice. I apologise!!

There was plenty of friendly advise, use dialight, ring technical helpline ad get your friend to sign up to SG.

Funny how people always seem to read the negative first.

Get the stylist to join up and ask, dia light is brill for this sort of thing
