Good morning all,

To give a bit of detail to my post. My girlfriend spent some time studying hair and beauty in college. Whilst knowing how to do nails and brows and alike, she never completed the course, and therefore didn't get that all important bit of paper.

She then returned to college to just do the hairdressing, and passed, from there she also attended a 2 day hair extension course. Now she runs her own mobile business doing hairdressing and extensions.

Whilst she is doing fantastic, it annoys me that she is more than able to do beautiful nails, and other things, but wont, because she doesn't have the paper to say she can. Whilst i admire her honesty, i know there's potential there to expand the business.

My question then, is anyone running a express course for nails, brows, waxing ect ect that only lasts a day / week.

I like to give practical Christmas presents, and i know a course to be able to expand the business would be perfect.

Thanks for reading, any help appreciated !!! :)

p.s Im also open to quirky gifts that will be good for an extensionist :D

Aww!

You could look at a manicure course. First & foremost as she will need that before she can do any other nail course. And get her the kit too!

Look to see if there is a CND near you, for the course...as you could add the Shellac course for not much more, plus then bits from the manicure kit would all be the same brand.

Or look at training with Bio sculpture they offer a complete course training and aswell as natural nails, overlays, she would learn gel enhancements.

I recommend brand training as they offer you full support after training, and you know how to get the best out if the products.

Your girlfriend is wise to not offer what she isn't qualified in as her insurance would be void.

:)

Xx

Thank you very much, that was exactly what i was looking for :D.

Ill look into these options and see whats most suitable =).

If it is going to be a surprise present, i would not get brand specific training as everyone has their own preference with brands. A basic manicure/ pedicure course would be better then she can choose which products she personally likes.
