Hi,

I'm still quite new and learning so forgive me if this is a stupid question.

I have just done my manicure, pedicure and gel polish courses but I was wondering if a client wants a full manicure but with a gel polish do you do the gels first and then finish with the "wet" parts such as scrub and massage rather than the other way round if they were having normal polish?

Oh and if anyone can point me in the direction of a good and affordable pedicure bowl that would be great. My OH seems to think a washing bowl will suffice lol but I'd like to think I'm more professional than that!!

Thanks in advance .

Firstly, there is no such thing as a stupid question!

Yes, the water and oils will affect adhesion. So complete your gel polish service and then continue with the manicure as normal. I tend to recommend that they don't need gel polish on the toes.

And my pedicures are done in a massive bowl I got in TK Max.

Thanks, I thought that would be the case but wanted to double check.

I'll scour the Tk Maxx's near me and see if I can find something. I had looked at IKEA but they didn't seem large enough with a 28cm diameter
