Manicure procedure

hi I’m currently training and Iv been offered a student place in a Salon. I’m just going through my manicure procedure and it’s different to what we got taught in collage. Is there one right way or does everyone do it different. Could you please tell me how you do a manicure. Thank you

We file, cutical remover cream then push back cutical. They file, cutical remover then soak then repeat on other hand then push back cuticals. Do you need to soak inbetween

Our college taught us ‘luxury’ manicures, treatments they use in spas. Is that what your college taught you? If it’s a normal salon, I’m guessing they do ‘quick’ manicures x
