hi, has anyone reburbished their manicure table, mine is a kidney shaped one which had glass on it - got scratched and i took off and now my desk is looking very shabby........any ideas where to buy new table top looked in ikea and they not doing as much as used to, appreciate any feedback thanks ann

you could maybe cover the glass which would be a bit less exspensive! the have some realy nice designs in that sticky back plastic or even just in a tinted colour (to match the colour of your salon) just to bring it back to life? x

You could always just get a piece of toughened glass cut? you could even get it etched with you logo? or fully etched so it looks silver? take it to a sign maker and get etched vinyl? don't think it would cost too much :)

I'd suggest the same - give your local glazier a call.

I just had new glass top cut for a manicure table and paid £30. If the top of the table is scratched as well then get it frosted or as cesalon said, frosted with your logo which would look really classy.

Infact if you're near ikea it might be worth getting some of their frosted sticky-back plastic (curtain dept) and putting that on the scratched side of the glass and turning it over. If that makes sense!! It might disguise the scratches and give you a nice smooth surface. Only costs a couple of quid so worth a go?
