Matted hair extensions?

Hi all iv come over to ask about extensions.
I had glue bonds put in about 2 months ago, and I have lots of Matt between my bonds in some places that i can't brush through. And am just wondering how this would of happened? And will it of damaged my hair?

Your extensionist should have told you to separate your bonds daily, you do this by running your fingers between them. It's the loose hair tangling around each other and the extensions when they've grown down a bit. Haven't you had maintenance?

No, I thought u have maintenance around the 3 month mark? Oh I did not know this.
