Can anyone help me please? I have been told that some medications can cause lifting of acrylics...but is there anywhere I can find a list of which ones, or if there is such a list???!

I don't know of any list but I do know of a couple of things
HRT, not every lady on it gets the lifting problem but HRT is known to cause hormone levels to change, beyond what is expected, this can cause the client to have an excessively oily nail plate and it doesn't matter how much you dehydrate the nail plate, because the oil comes up underneath the acrylic.
I have a friend who can only wear silk or fibreglass wraps because of this.
Cancer treatments can cause all sorts of problems, I've just been reading a thread that says ladies on these treatments or just after these treatments do quiet well with Shelac.
My advice would be, re cancer treatments, I wouldn't do a set of acrylics, this is because some of the treatments can cause the nail plate to come of and I'd be horrified if it happened during a acrylic nail treatment.
For anyone on HRT, you have to be honest and tell the client that you are willing to do it but you can't say 100% that the enhancements will stay on and you won't give a refund if they come off.
The menopause can also cause problems so again, I'd do it but tell the client, no guarantees.
