Hello again ladies, I was wondering what methods you use to charge nail art-
by time?? materials used? difficulty? per nail??

I ask since I specialize in nail art and I would like to do my research and have my pricing and everything good to go for once I finish my nail course..it just seems all the salons have different methods of gauging what to charge :/

Work out what you want today earn a year and how much you want to work then price your work accordingly. If you don’t charge enough there’s no point in doing the work as you’ll never earn enough to live on. I charge on average £40 an hour. That covers my time, materials and salon costs

I have two options when people book online for Nail Art Add-Ons.
15 Mins - Simple and QUICK nail art designs $1.50 per nail
30 Mins - Intricate and FULL SET $15.00
These options have worked the best for me so far, but I know some other techs charge up to $10 just for one nail hand painted.

I just list nail art at two levels:
Simple nail art extra £3
Complex nail art extra £6

This gives me a range of price to charge appropriately
