I'm not trained in micro rings or micro loops but I know how to fit them myself etc, I was just wondering if anyone knows the best place to buy them from where there good quality but affordable and will last, thankyou

I wouldn't attempt to do it yourself, if applied incorrectly it will cause damage to your hair, I would visit your local tech x

I've done them myself before and I do them on my best mate no damage as of yet haha

I would also find a professional qualified technician.

Most places will not sell you hair without proof of qualification.

I'm trained in beauty therapy and have a level 3 hairdressing and barbering qualification so I can go I to the warehouse and they haven't asked before

Can you fit your own? Id love to beable to fit my own I just think my arms would fall off! Lol. I've been paying other techs..,last lady that fit mine oh my god my head was soo sore I couldn't even lay on the pillow! I had to loosen them myself

Colouring your own hair fitting extensions (and to someone when unqualified) recipe for disaster.

Can you advise me on doing my own gel nails?I can buy all the kit when I pick up my hairdressing stuff at the wholesale. I've attempted it with some stuff off ebay- went pretty well!

Yeah can fit my own takes me HOURS cuz I take breaks cuz my arms go numb hahaha the side is easier than the back let me tell you!!

Yeah I find it more challenging to gel my own toes- maybe because I've had no training??? Any tips from one non pro to another?

Gel toes are really hard in themself when doing them on your own toes, Just make sure you use THIN layers of gel not to thick as it spreads and won't set properly, try shellac instead of gel if that works better for you! 💅

Lol 🙈

Oh dear I don't think she's listening to you colour girly lol x

I once put my own micro ring extensions in back in after having them done professionally, and taking them out myself in prep for Indian head massage at college. Let me tell u, I will never be that stupid again. I am a hairdresser but not an extensionist and I should have known better. Obviously I had cross hairs, no clean sections, or proper sections at all probably. My scalp was sore and very itchy! It was a mortifying experience on the whole. Please visit a professional in future or book yourself onto a good training course. That way you can do your friends hair safely and properly. It's the only way to do things.

Laurensbeauty you are new to the site, but you should still be aware that it is a Site for Salon Professionals.
Professionals have respect for each other, their qualifications and areas of expertise.

To that end we do not ask how to carry our a professional treatment in order to bypass actually training in it, that is disrespectful to those that have trained.

We also don't give out advice on how to use pro products to non trained geeks, even if they are only asking to prove a point.

Please take this information on board, meantime I shall close this thread to ensure my point doesn't get laboured.
