My little boy has special needs and to raise funds his play therapy group are having a ladies indulgence evening. This year they have invited me to hold a table and I have decided to offer manicure and paraffin wax treatments.

Wax is easy and would take me about 15 minutes, I could easily have one on the go all the time whilst carrying on with another treatment but I need to fit in as many manicures in as possible in 3 hours so I thought a waterless mini man would be good. Does anyone else offer this and which bits of the manicure process do you include? I was thinking of basing it on a Creative Spa man.....
Antibac hand gel
Apply cuticle remover and push
Exfoliate and activate - maybe just lotion?
Scrubfresh and polish
Treatment time 30 mins (not sure this is possible)

I need to raise as much cash as possible for the cause and cover my own costs so I need to charge as much as I can get away with. Any ideas?

Can I use just nail fresh instead of scrub fresh as its only going under polish and not enhancements. The polish does seem to stay on longer when I do this on Myself but not sure its strictly correct.

Does anyone use an autoclave? I'm guessing it would be a good thing to use between clients and give a good impression. Can anyone recommend a good system.
Arhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

My suggestion in place of an autoclave would be to use only disposables, especially since you'll be 'on location'. I'd look into really inexpensive disposable files and orangewood sticks as cuticle pushers, that way you can just toss 'em and neither you nor the client has to be concerned with contamination. Sounds like an excellent form of community service combined with networking and business promotion! Have a blast!

Great idea!! My suggestion would be to cut out the exfoliation. This would help your time considerably. I don't exfoliate in my mini mani's and everyone is always happy with their results. Good Luck!

I wouldn`t do any cuticle work, you could point out to them that their cuticles are in need of some pampering which you don`t have time for during that treatment and they may come back to you form some special pampering.
As for an autoclave, I wouldn`t use that either, sanitizing files between clients should be more than enough, or if you were doing cuticle work, then a jar of barbicide for your tools.
Also the exfoliation treatment is something special for them to experience but have you thought about the solar range? you could use the solarmanicure instead of spa crystals and activator as it would cut the time down.
The last indulgence evening I did, we used solarmanicure, sqeaked and polished in 15 minute slots and were rushed off our feet all evening.
Good luck with whatever route you take, and enjoy

i hope you raise loads for your little one , i am sure you will be rushed all night , good luck love dee
