Hey there who can rate minx nails are they popular? What is the training like?

My training was an hour or so. It's easy enough to do, but always good to have the training. ;)

Oh that's great thank you

I rate Minx very highly. I still do lots of them. some on fingers but mostly on toes as they last a lot longer. I promote them for holidays and parties etc. With Christmas coming up now people will want them as they will be having christmas parties so their toes will be out in party shoes.

Use whatever is coming up seasonally, weddings, parties, christenings, etc etc to promote them. Wear them yourself also and make sure you show them off.

I even to full on. When there is a quiet MOMENT in the salon I will just go up to someone and say "Do you like my Minx on my toes?" Some people haven't ever seen it so then I explain it to them. Normally get a sale from that. You cant be afraid to speak up these days to get your sales in.

The official minx training is run by CND Education ambassadors, the class is 3 hours long and covers, application, removal, PEP and hints, tips and troubleshooting.
If you want the official Minx Certificate this is the only way to get it, through Sweetsquared or Ellisons.
Other academys just do their version not the official Minx training and it is often called celebrity nails etc etc, Very often more expensive than the official training via a CND EA or Creative academy, so make sure you search around first.

If you are looking at becoming a full service nail professional, the you need the Jump courses from CND www.sweetsquared.com under education tab, Jump courses and then the CND complete which covers everything you will need, theory, manicure, pedicure, colour theory, shellac, the polished nail, enhancement basics then L&P and Brisa gel. Plus an ITEC qualification as well as the CND qualification.
