Grrrr...I had typed up a really detailed post and then accidently deleted it >.<
Long story short - I've ended up moving back to my hometown 14 months ago. I was desperate for a job so didn't take the time to find a hair job just took the first job I could find - which was a call centre. I rely on my wage and can't afford to downgrade my wage to a salon wage. My car will be sorted in the next month so i'm thinking to get back into hairdressing go mobile part-time on top of my other job (since my car will save me 10 hours a week in travel time anyway so that's time I can invest in working) and then slowly reduce my hours until the hairdressing is fulltime again.
I love hair and just doing friends and family favours is really getting me down! I know i'd be paying basic rate tax on anything I made and i'm okay with that.
I was just wondering if anybody here has ever been self-employed as a second job? How hard is the paper work? Is it easy enough getting everything on track and paying the tax etc? If you could reply with your experiences that would be so so SO amazing lol.
